Is Mental Health Even Real

IS MENTAL HEALTH EVEN REAL?

Depression na stress ni ya wazungu and the rich, hiyo yako ni changamoto za Maisha

The degree of ignorance we are clinging to is unappealing, and this quote made me feel angry and like screaming at my African community.

Africans have made the decision to disregard life's realities because they believe that mental health is a personal choice. Many people believe that mental health issues are more likely to occur in those who belong to a particular race, community, standard, or socioeconomic status.
THAT IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG.

Perhaps your current financial predicament is the outcome of a mental health issue that you are experiencing. I bid on that.

As I was doing my first Mental Health Awareness course via Zoom, one participant observed, "People face mental health challenges because they are very delicate."

It is not fair to argue that Mental Health Issues are caused by DELICACY. Mental health problems are complicated and can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, environment, trauma, stress, chemical imbalances, and life experiences. Labeling mental health concerns as delicacy might stigmatize those who confront them.

In reality, mental health conditions are not a sign of weakness or fragility but are medical conditions that deserve understanding and proper treatment.  As much as we go to hospitals to treat physical illnesses, Mental issues should be given the same treatment and priorities. Keep in mind that it will kill you mentally and the effects come to be seen physically.

Yes, mental health exists, and before you know it, you're a victim. Learn about the true meaning of mental health and what it takes to be mentally well.

By sharing this post with others, you can help me eliminate stigma, myths, and misconceptions surrounding mental health. Please feel free to share your thoughts on mental health, and together we can build a community that supports mental health. "We are in this together" after all.
